¿Qué hacemos en Inglés?

SCHOOL NEWS about us...

We are students in class 7º “B” at Nuestra Señora del Calvario school. There are thirty six students in our class and we are all girls.

We study a lot of subjects every day, such as Maths, Spanish, Science, Social Studies, Ethics, Art, Music, Physical and Religious Education . We also learn two foreign languages: English and French.

In our English class, we work with a book called : IN FOCUS 2 and we do a lot of activities. For example: on April 26^th we went to “Luz y Fuerza” theatre to see a play called “D’Artagnan: Defending the crown” which was all in English. The story was about a young man whose dream was to become a musketeer. There was also an old woman called Florence who lived close to the King’s place . One day she was attacked by thieves and D’Artagnan saved her. Soon they became good friends.

At the palace, the king decided to take a week’s holiday and leave Princess Anne in charge of the kingdom. Soon D’Artagnan bumped into her. The captain of the musketeers, Rochefort, thought he was attacking the princess and capture him. D’Artagnan was taken to prison and Rochefort sent the princess to jail because he wanted to be the king.

In jail Anne and D’Artagnan were powerless. Florence was thrown into jail too and they thought of a plan together. Finally they escaped and saved the king. It was great!

At the moment we are planning our school trip to Valle Hermoso in Cordoba . We are leaving on November 28^th and we are coming back on November 30^th . We are going to visit Calvario school in Cordoba and the shopping center there . We are looking forward to being there soon and enjoying our trip!
